The newest crave has swept across the nation, it's not a new car, or new
toy; it's actually a frigging pair of sandal. Who would of thought?
Bath & Body Works has added a sandal called Fit Flops to their
line of beauty and bath products, and once the advertising got going,
the sandals were flying off of selves.
I at first was 'almost' sucked into this conning sandal scheme.
I was getting wrapped up in message boards about people claiming to be
on a waiting list, and others spending $100 or more on ebay for a pair.
Turns out Bath & Body Works is sold out, and you have to pre-order
them. But the list is so long that you could be waiting months before
you get a pair.
WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL!?
I'm sure you are wondering what the craze is all about, and why this
craze is over a sandal. Well let me explain, you see these sandals are
being advertised as fit flops, which is basically a sandal that will
tone your legs, and burn calories while building muscles. Sounds too
good to be true, yep.
So I did what any other skeptical person looking to tone her legs
would do. I went to the mother source. I didn't go to ebay to place a
bid, I went to www.bathandbodyworks.com to get a closer look at what these sandals are all about.
So they will cost you $45.00 and only come in black or red, and whoo
gez lord they sure are ugly. They certainly are not a sandal I would
want on my feet while out in public. They are large and clunky looking.
The appearance is what got me to thinking. Of course your legs would
tone up if you were slugging 2 pound bricks on your feet all day. This
is probably the reasoning as to why one would get somewhat of a tone
look to their legs. However I have some pretty heavy arse shoes with 4
inch heels, and as tone as my leg may get, and as sore as it gets,
eventually with long term use my legs got used to it, and they went back
to normal.
Now the promise of making your legs longer. Hah! Please people read
the print before you spend the money. The only way your legs are going
to look longer is if the shoe has a big high wedge, which clearly it
does. The big wedge is where the extra weight is stored. I guarantee
these suckers are heavier than your average shoe.
But hmm... I could be wrong, this may not be the case with the fit flops.
Then I began reading the advertisement, that promises you will tone
burn calories just by walking around. But then I got to thinking, well
doesn't that stand true even without special shoes. I mean hell, I'm
burning some calories right this second just by typing. Gee, look at
that my fingers they look a little tone too. Woowie!
I should honestly start selling heavy bracelets that promise your arms will get tone just by 'wearing them'.
Why stop there though, I could also sell heavy anklets that would do
the same. I just feel bad for the folks who actually eat this crap up.
Honestly I could tone my legs and burn calories by walking around in my
socks.
I just find it cute that big companies are aware of how gullible their
customers are as they will sell you plastic and tell you it's gold.
If you are smart back out now. I am very disappointed that Bath &
Body Works would go as far as selling these heavy ugly wedge sandals to
their customers with such glorious promises. What's sadder is that a lot
of people have bought into this flop.

Review of Homedics Therapist Select Kneading Shiatsu Neck Massager
When I don't tell my boyfriend what I want for Christmas, or my
birthday, I always end up with a weird 'surprise'. Most of the time
these surprises I think he buys because he likes them, and knows if he buys it, he can use it.
This past Christmas under the tree sat a lot of nice things from him, and I noticed a big box all prettily wrapped. I wondered what on earth it could be. I opened the box and held in my hands a Homedics Therapist Select Kneading Shiatsu Neck Massager.
Okay, why he bought it, is beyond me. It seemed to me that this was something he wanted for himself because I never ask for massages or care to have one. Him on the other hand always wants a good massage. I knew this gift was for him, but wrapped in disguise for me. What I didn't understand though was why he didn't just buy a simple massaging wand, why the hell did he buy this large clunky piece of plastic. It seems that in order to get a good full body massage from this hunk-o-junk another person had to manual it. I sure as hell wasn't using my arm power to massage his back, with the gift he bought for me. I hated it at the get go.
However I couldn't act like a bitch, I had to at least 'pretend' to like it. I opened the box, and began to hate it more. It has a plug in attachment, and the God for saken thing must have weighed at least 5 pounds or more. It is shaped sort of like a large uncomfortable plastic pillow. There are two kneading fingers attached to the area where you are supposed to lay your neck. These kneading fingers however are as hard as rock, and all that protects your neck from getting slammed on is a thin piece of fabric. It looked like a torture trap. Hidden within the box was also this pathetic blow up pillow in gray. I blew up the pillow, and tried attaching it with it large suction cup to the machine. It didn't stick, so basically this extra little gift was a waste of natural resources. Crap.
It has 3 settings, but the machine does not tell you what they are, when I turned it on their was one difference in the 2 massaging settings. All it did was rotate in the opposite direction.
I plugged the Neck massager in and placed my neck down on it. I fumbled with trying to turn it on by myself. Turns out it was nearly impossible, so Raymond had to flick it on for me.
And.... Ooooooohhhhh OOOwwww.... Son of a &^*&$#!!!!!
Just as I imagined, the friggin' thing is a torture machine. It hurt like hell. I was going to need a massage after this, a real one. Raymond then picked the large machine up and held it by its 2 handles and ran the machine down my back. A little to fast, so the fabric felt like it was burning, as the 2 rock like fingers worked at my back. It was not a pleasant feeling, nor was I enjoying it.
After 2 seconds of 'my turn', it was now 'his turn'. Just as I suspected.
I struggled holding the heavy machine as I ran it around his back and body. My arms got tired fast, and I gave up on it quickly. I then told him to return it, and that it was a waste of money. He vowed up and down though that it felt good. Whatever. I don't know who he expects to hold this troubled machine up while he 'enjoys' it. Sure as hell ain't gunna be me.
I plopped the heavy hunk of plastic back in its box and gave it a little kick. The piece of garbage has sat in it's box ever since Christmas collecting dust.
I think about it every now and then when the box stares me down, why the hell did he buy it? It may have been the advertising he read on the site, that's honestly all I could think of.
What Homedics promised:
'The best part of most back rubs is the deep kneading thumb pressure on your tight muscles. Unfortunately, usually your massage buddy's thumb muscles tire out before your neck muscles fully loosen up.
The Kneading Shiatsu Massager simulates the hands of a professional massage therapist. It lets you easily relieve the tension in your neck and shoulders with its powerful mechanical "thumbs." Large rubberized handles make it easy to hold when you want to target other areas, like arms, legs, feet, etc.
The best part? This massage therapist won't ever get tired!'
Well, well, well, the massage therapist never gets tired!? Hah! What about the poor bastard that has to hold this thing up and maneuver it around their partners body? Maybe my 'fingers' won't get tired, but my arms sure as hell do.
Overall:
I'd have to say that this massage machine is a giant bulky waste of money. It is available now at www.homedics.com for $49.99, but in my opinion steer clear of it. Buy a simple massaging wand, where you don't have to burden other people to work on you.

Paper Clips Are More Than Just Paper Clips
No one ever wants to review paper clips because well, they're boring.
Plus who the hell wants to read about a damn paper clip? I wouldn't, I'd
laugh at the fact that some idiot even wrote about it. But you see, so
long as the idiot is fun about it, I can't see why people would not want
to read about paper clips. Besides paper clips are so much more than
paper clips.
Paper clips are an office supply, an etching machine, a toy, jewelry, and decoration. If you just allow yourself to think outside of the box a paper clip is what you make of it. You can allow the stupid thing to sit in your desk organizer, or you can bring it out and put it to some good use.
1. Lets get the obvious of of the way. A paper clip is used to hold paper and document together. The larger the size, the larger the hold. Okay, you got that. Yawn.
2. The paper clip man. Who hasn't gotten bored and made one? You simply stretch the paper clip into all sort of weird shapes until you finally have what looks like a stick person on your desk. Bravo!!! You smart thing you. Now shape a heart. A square! A star, oh yeah thats a tough one. Before you know it you will be sculpting paper clip works of art.
3. The paper clip was always my favorite in school, and this is why many teachers never asked for them on the supplies list. You see, once you stretch a paper clip out into a straight line, you now have an etching machine. Simply drag the tip of the paper clips across your desk for a lovely etched look. Feel free to add your name, your boyfriends name, and whatever else you want. Next, scribble over your etching with a pen. Lick your finger, and wipe up any surrounding ink. What you have left is an ink tattoo for your desk. It will be there for years, and years to come.
4. Paper clips also make for excellent weapons. When you fold them out the end is sharp. You can run by a friend, or enemy and scratch their arms up pretty good. Not recommending you do this, but umm... just in case you need to.
5. The nail picker. Man what a great invention the paper clip is. It's so damn universal. You can shape a paper clip into a nail picker. Usually I stretch mine out into a straight line, and then dig away with the sharp tip. It works great, and you can also use it to get plaque out of your teeth.
6. Jewelry! Hey, hey, hey! That's correct. If you buy yourself a colorful pack of paper clips you can link them up into a necklace or bracelet. They're cool, they're stylish, and it's trendy. Teens love the paper clip jewelry.
7. The imaginary braces. Yep every kid knows how cool a paper clip can be if you use your imagination. When I was in school I used to see tons of brace faces, yet I had no need for them. In order to fit in I had to come up with a way to obtain braces without having them. The paper clip came in handy for this job. I simply had to stretch the paper clip out, and run it across my teeth. Of course things were uncomfortable, but hey, I had braces.
8. The Christmas tree decorations. This is easy to do. Simply link the paper clips together like you would to make a necklace. Only this time make a really really big one. This requires a lot of paper clips, but makes for excellent decorations in classrooms. Use red and green paper clips for Christmas time, and orange and black ones for Halloween.
9. The paper clip spring. All you have to do is stretch the paper clip out into a triangular shape, and place your finger down the center of it. Lift, and the paper clip goes flying. Pretty fun bouncy springy thingie. Hehe.
See, and so many people thought paper clips were boring. If you just put your imagination to work, a boring old office toy could become the greatest means of entertainment. Now when the boss walks into the room, just make sure it looks like you are doing something work related with the paper clips.

Bath & Body Works Temptations Orange Freeze 3 in 1 Shower Gel
I used to love orange creamsicle pops when I was a wee one. But as
I got older the frozen treat became less and less luxurious as my
palette got introduced to ice creams such as Hagen Daz and Godiva.
Orange creamsicle bars slowly slipped from my mind and I had not had one
in years.
A few months ago I came across Orange Freeze a 3 in 1 shower gel in
the Temptations collection. I know the Temptations collection all too
well, and usually love everything, and anything they come out with.
When I first clicked open the bottle, the scent was the exact scent of an orange creamsicle bar I remembered sucking on as a kid. It was actually to the tee. A perfect match. But that day, my mood was not orange creamsicle ice cream, so I left the bottle alone. Months later though, BBW was having a semi annual sale and this particular 3 in 1 was on sale for a steal at only $5.00. How could I not buy a bottle?
The bottle itself is a clear, with the name Orange Freeze on it. Behind the name sits an orange creamsicle bar. It's pretty hard to miss, seeing how the gel is orange, and the bottle is pretty large. 16 ounces to be precise.
Just what is a 3 in 1?
A 3 in 1 is 3 bathing products all slapped into one bottle for a high, yet lower price than it would be to purchase all 3 separately. You can use Orange Freeze as a bubble bath, a shower gel, and a shampoo.
I usually drip some into my bath tub first and do the official bubble bath test, followed by the shampoo and wash test.
I had a feeling that Orange Freeze would produce duds, usually 3 in 1 products produce crap when it comes to bubbles. I poured in a generous 3 to 4 capfuls and ran the water. The bubbles did form, but they were pretty pathetic when it comes to a bubble bath. The bath water smelled like the ice cream bar, but the bubbles died out pretty dang fast. Overall I would rate this bubble bath a 3.
As Shampoo Orange freeze did produce a nice smelling thick lather. It was silky, and I knew though that once I rinsed it out of my hair it would leave it feeling dry. Sure enough it did, so I simply followed up with some nice conditioner and all was well.
The ice cream bar scent stuck with me for quite some time afterward, so that was really a nice surprise. Usually 3 in 1's don't have long lasting scents when used as shampoo, and then one in the bunch surprises you out of nowhere. The scent however is subtle, and really only I was able to smell it. As shampoo it easily gets a 7.
Orange Freeze was a champ when it came to using it as a shower gel. I only needed a small drop on my shower poof to get a nice luscious lather going. The lather was silky and produced tons of bubbles. The scent wrapped me up, and I was taken back to childhood memories. It was a nice feeling, and a nice childhood scent I remembered.
The lather washed off easily without leaving any residue behind. I liked it, a lot. The scent however only stuck around for a few minutes after drying up. I was expecting it to last longer because it had when I used it as shampoo. It was no big deal though. I enjoyed it without its scent sticking to my skin all day. As a wash I rate Orange Freeze a 7.
Overall Orange Freeze is a lovely childlike scent that anyone will enjoy. My boyfriend is crazy about it, and I have a feeling he has been hitting it up as well. I would buy this one again and again; the scent that I almost never bought.
Where to buy it:
You can buy Orange Freeze at any local Bath & Body Works, or online at www.bathandbodyworks.com. Orange Freeze is now on sale for only $6.00. Thats half off the original price, so act now!
What Bath & Body Works says about Orange Freeze:
"EVERYBODY'S MAIN SQUEEZE. She claimed to detest social affairs but she never missed a party. She thought fashion was trivial though she never missed a sale. To all who knew her, she was an alluring sphinx and the perfect contradiction. She was sweet, all right, but despite her sunny disposition, she was often known to freeze out the competition with just one look. Imported."

No'Squito Indoor Insect Control Trap! Eliminate the Blasted Mosquito's!
Who hates mosquito's? Hmm... just about everyone I am assuming. They
bite, they leave itchy marks, and worst of all they could be harmful to
your health.
It's summer time right now though, and it can be a little hard to avoid the son of a monsters.
I use Off, I use sprays, and still the damn things bite. It doesn't matter how much I use, or how many chemicals I pour on myself, they find me. They love me.
Recently while browsing at a local Kmart I found sitting in the garden section something that seemed like it could possibly work. My boyfriend also took a look and thought it was a good idea, so we bought the No'Squito Indoor Insect Control Trap.
The No'Squito uses no harsh chemicals and it plugs in safely eliminating all flying bugs. It uses a replaceable UV bulb that when turned on draws in the bugs. Once the bugs come to the light it sucks them into a separate chamber and into an enclosed trap. This trap can later be opened to allow harmless bugs out, or you can leave them in their to die. Muuuahhh ha ha!!!!
We have an outdoor outlet so we figured we could plug this in and leave it on our picnic table under the gazebo, that way it would be protected from rain. Initially this trap is for indoor use, but we didn't care, mosquito's get us outside more than they do inside, so using it indoors would just be wasteful.
The trap itself said it came with an extra bulb, but the bastards forgot to add it in, or it was returned and the last owner stole the replacement bulb, so if you buy this one at any local stores check its contents first.
HOW WELL DOES IT WORK?
I plugged the trap in and placed it on the table. I loved it, the light switched on and gave off a bright UV shine of blue. It was pretty, and the moment it went on all the fun began. I watched as moths got safely sucked into its trap, and as beetles struggled for freedom. I intended on freeing them later.
As the night went on, the trap got less interesting and I was able to focus more on our barbecue. A few hours later I brought the trap inside to see just what I had gotten.
A mother lode of bugs were trapped inside of the tray. I had to be careful releasing them, because I did not want any mosquito's to get out in the process. I opened the trap door and the beetles all flew out quickly. Some stuck to the bottom. As mosquito's tried flying out, I was able to squish them before they even could spread their wings. Haha!
I also checked my legs for any new bites, and to my surprise I had not a single one. It was a hot steamy night, and usually on nights like these I get at least 5 to 6 bites on my exposed legs and arms. Had this trap really been that successful in keeping the mosquito's occupied with the light and not my blood? You betcha it did.
We use it every night, and are not assaulted by mosquito's, the mosquito's are now assaulted by us! Hahaha!!!
*Tip- if you are using this for outdoor use, do bring it inside with you after each use. If it rains, it could ruin the machine.
Minor Issues:
1. Sometimes it can be difficult to free the good bugs vs the bad ones. You have to shake it, and be quick for the kill in order to kill the mosquito's as the other bugs are released.
2. This machine does not stop the stubborn squito. Do not think you will be bite free by using this. Bites will be eliminated in quantity yes, but you still will suffer a bite every now and then. Be sure to use spray as well as the machine at the same time to eliminate bites.
Overall the No'Squito eliminates almost 90% of all mosquito's in the area, and for that I rate it as an excellent product. The use for harsh chemicals is eliminated, and so is the nuisance of other flying bugs. I also enjoy how it is safe for other flying bugs, and it does not kill them unless I leave them in their to die.
What No'Squito says, "No Chemicals - Environmentally safe / No zaps, glues or poisons / Clean and effective / Silent Operation / Replaceable UV Bulb-Light attracts bugs"
Pricing and availability:
You can purchase the No'Squito trap at Kmart for $29.99 or online in ranges from $25.00-$40.00. Right now this very machine is being sold at www.amazon.com for $23.72.
Honestly it is well worth the money, and you will be enjoying a nice relaxing day and night in your back yard while using the No'Squito.

AirZone 14' Trampoline Review
I'm a huge kid, and I get jealous when other people buy cool things for
their kids, and I sit at the sidelines and watch as the 'kids' get to
play. When my younger cousin got a trampoline I looked at it in awe. Yet
the whinny spoiled rich girl she was, would not allow anyone on her
trampoline.
Screw her, hopefully she falls off and breaks a leg. Everyone watched as little miss princess went about trying to get our attention as she hopped around attempting to do flips. Ah! Loser.
My paycheck came 4 days later, I had to show this clown up, and I had to have a trampoline! I didn't even know they sold them so big to regular everyday people. I assumed these large sizes were only sold to people in the circus. However when I saw big blue hanging from a ceiling in Walmart for only $199 I knew I could afford it, I knew I could have it, and I knew it was a matter of hours before I'd be hopping away doing flips and impossible jumps.
The trampoline was made by AirZone and was approximately 14'. The protective padding was blue, even though I would have preferred pink.
Setup was a cinch, however it did require 2 people to set it up. This was where I put my dad to work. Setting up the bars which simply slid into one another was the easy part. Next we had to attach the springs, again this came easy. Then we hit an issue. We slowly attached each spring to the trampoline pad, and at first we thought this was going smoothly, up until we hit the last 3 springs. We had to tug really really hard to get the last 3 attached, and this feat was quite dangerous. One slip and you could cut your hand up pretty good.
After a grueling 10 minutes tugging and pulling we finally had the trampoline all set up. My was she a beaut! Next we simply had to decide where on the lawn we would drag it to. We found a pretty level area on the lawn in the back yard, and there she has rested for nearly 2 years now, still working as excellent as she did when we took our first jumps.
We knew we had to be careful while jumping because trampolines are dangerous. No horsing around, and no doing flips by the sides. These rules are pretty easy to follow as an adult, but kids...eh, kids tend to bend the rules a lot and end up hurt as a result. So if you are going to buy one for your kids, do make sure you are present while they are jumping. Even with those lame ass protective nets kids can still fall off and get really hurt.
Sturdy?
When you go to take your first jumps the trampoline is going to make a bunch of grinding clattering noises. Don't sweat it, it's simply tightening up as you jump. A few jumps will make the trampoline feel sturdy and supportive in no time.
The next 2 days were spent jumping and camping on the trampoline. After the initial obsession, you will grow less and less obsessed with it. I use it about once a month give or take now.
Injury?
You can get injured on a trampoline easily. There are rules to follow, and if you don't follow them of course you're going to get hurt one time or another. For one, only one person should be jumping at a time. More than that is bound to cause injury. Did I follow that rule? No. I have jumped on our 14' trampoline with 3 people. We didn't get any injury, but again we are adults, and we sort of are aware of ourselves and our surroundings. Am I saying you should do it? Hell no, but I do know I can't stop you, and most likely you won't be jumping alone, thats just the reality of a trampoline.
However, do monitor children on the trampoline. If more than one child is on the trampoline keep your eyes peeled, and remain around the edges of the trampoline while children are jumping.
The trampoline also warns against flips. However, the reality once again is that most likely every user is going to try and do a flip. I've done flips, and let me tell you, it is dangerous. You can hit your leg against the metal bar pretty frigging hard, which could cause a sprain or break if you land wrong. There have been reports of people flipping off of the trampoline and breaking their necks, so my advice is to not try it. No matter how badly you want to.
Neighbors:
Once the neighborhood becomes aware of your trampoline you have a problem. It's not long before you have strange kids knocking on your door asking to use the trampoline. No matter how cute, and how badly they beg, it's a big NO. You do not want a lawsuit on your hands if someones kid hurts themselves. If you are feeling generous let them know they cannot jump on it unless their parents are present.
Protection:
The trampoline can be left out in the winter time, as taking it down can be a pain in the rear. Walmart sells protective covers for such a purpose. I will say this though, we have had our trampoline for 2 years and counting, and we have never used a cover. Our springs are still as fresh looking as day 1. However if you don't use a cover do inspect your trampoline before using it after long periods of time. Check for rusty springs. If any are rusted over, do not use the trampoline. You can simply replace the spring.
Other trampoline gadgets:
1. Protective netting. It's not really fun, but it could save you or a child from injury. However it is not 100% injury proof.
2. Trampoline tents can also be bought. This is a large dome enclosure for the trampoline. You can go camping on your trampoline without getting rained on, or eaten by mosquito's.
Where to buy a trampoline:
Walmart has the best deals on trampolines, and also carries a large assortment of different sizes suited for any lawn size. Prices vary from $194-$349. You can take a look at the different types of trampolines available at www.walmart.com.
Overall:
A trampoline provides hours and hours of fun year after year. The best thing about a trampoline is that you are getting exercise while having fun. However they can be dangerous and one should take caution while on a trampoline.

Review of Comfort Calm Doggie Bites
Our newest addition to the family is a big drooling pile of energy. His
name is Bully, and he is a 5 month old Bull Terrier. He's a great dog,
but there are times when he goes bonkers. I mean running back and forth
in the house that causes cabinets to shake. He becomes a terror, and
eventually his rampages are enough to piss you off.
No matter what we tried doing, it didn't seem to work. He was a puppy, that was understandable, but there has to be a limit, he has to know when to stop, only he doesn't. He will keep on keepin' on with his rebellious ways.
We tried petting him to calm him down, we tried playing with him till he was tired, we even tried crating him till he calmed down. Only removing him from the crate afterward seemed to make things worse.
While my boyfriend and I were browsing out local Petco we came across something we thought was worth trying. Comfort Calm Doggie Bites. The bag promised that these 'calming treats' would calm your dog down while you are away, while traveling, or while there are changes occurring, or visitors over. We were doing none of the following, we weren't traveling, having visitors over, or anything like that. We just wanted something that would calm Bully down. A chill pill. Alright!
It all sounded promising, so we bought the bag for around $6.00 and went on our way. Once we got home Bully went nuts, the perfect time for us to give him a calming treat. Raymond opened the bag and gave him one to start with, even though at his weight, he could have 2.
Weight guide From Petco.com and also found on the package:
Under 25 lbs.: 1 treat
25 - 49 lbs.: 2 treats
50 - 75 lbs.: 3 treats
over 75 lbs.: 3 - 4 treats
