Review: Mission Jalapeno Cheddar Wraps

Today I came across a review that stated that Mission Jalapeno Cheddar Wraps were hideous. Seeing that I recently picked up a pack of these, and had a much different view on them, I had to share my point of view.

This opposing micro review lacked actual details on what the Mission Jalapeno Wraps tasted like, I figured I would fill you in.

First of all the pricing, packaging and appearance.

The pricing on these wraps are a bit , so expect to dish out around the same amount for them.
They come in a pack of 6, and are medium sized. I personally prefer much larger wraps, which are easer to stuff with tuna, chicken, or whatever else my heart desires. With Mission's Jalapeno Cheddar Wraps I knew I'd be able to stuff in some chicken and lettuce. Anything more the wrap would likely blow apart at the seams.

Through the package I was able to get a clear view of what the wraps looked like. They have a slightly orange yellow tint to them, with easy to view vegetables stuck within the actual wrap. They seem to be both sun dried tomato, and jalapeno slices, but that is merely a guess.

The Mission Jalapeno Cheddar Wraps are actually really delicious, with a spicy jalapeno kick to them, and an undertone of mild cheddar. Frankly I found the wraps to be delicious; far from the hideous flavoring that others have stated.

They tasted fresh, had a nice hint of spicy jalapeno, without over doing it. They had a nice mild tinge to them and went rather well with both tuna salad, and chicken salad.

Each tortilla comes to 5 grams of fat, and contains 210 calories, which is not too bad if you want a healthy lunch, without having to worry about gaining a ton of weight.

I found Mission Jalapeno Cheddar wraps at Target. I have yet to see them being sold in grocery stores.

Mission Jalapeno Cheddar wraps are delicious. They are not the best spicy wraps I have ever had, but they are pretty good, and I would buy them again. I do think however that the price could be lowered considering other packs contain 20 wraps and cost about the same.
