Review of Honey Bakery Gourmet Treats for the Discriminating Dog; Halloween Cookies

This past weekend I went on a non-stop spending spree at a newly opened Home Goods store. I try to avoid Home Goods, because whenever I am in there, a quick peek turns into large spending sprees. This past weekend, beside spoiling myself, my dog also got in on the action.

You see they have this isle dedicated to the pampered pooch, and before I knew it, I was grabbing just about every treat I could find off of the shelves. Our bull terrier is a total food junkie, but due to his restricted diet, he cannot eat normal dog food like other dogs, so everyday in the morning and before bed, we give him treats to make up for the fact that his stomach cannot digest certain ingredients found in dog food.

When I came across a package of Honey Bakery Gourmet Treats for the Discriminating Dog; in Halloween shapes, I figured giving him 2 or 3 of them per day would be a nice way to treat him, and I really was digging on the neat Halloween shapes.

The cookies themselves contained a neat mixture of ghoulish shapes, in either orange colored, or cream colored. Some of them even had chocolate coating on them, which I knew he would enjoy.

Once home, I got around to letting him try them immediately. After popping the lid off tough, and inhaling the delicious vanilla wafer scent, I was surprised at how human like these cookies smelled. Yes, really, they smelled good enough for even me to eat.

I gave our dog 2 of the cookies and he chomped them down like it was his birthday. They smell good enough, for even the most discriminating dog! My little guy who does not eat treats too often due to the fact that if it does not smell good, he will not eat it. Apparently the Honey Bakery Gourmet Treats for the Discriminating Dog, smelled good enough for him, because he too helped himself to a cookie, and ate every bit up.

Overall:

Honey Bakery Gourmet Treats for the Discriminating Dog, are winners in my book. I love the smell myself, I like how not just one of our dogs eats them, but they both do, without hesitation.

If you have a picky eater, I am pretty sure he or she will enjoy these cookies. If you are daring enough, you may even like them too!
