A few months ago I decided to try new Smart Rinse. I picked it up in a
berry flavor and liked it so much that I began using it religiously. I
liked how it left my mouth feeling clean, and left my teeth feeling
extra polished. The berry flavor however quickly lost its charm, and I
got a little bit sick of the berry bubble gum like aftertaste it left
behind.
Although Smart Rinse is designed to get kids to keep their dental
hygiene in check, I like the stuff, but decided to try the more grown up
flavor, Mint Shield.
Instead of sporting a pink color, Mint Shield is a minty green color.
The effect is the same, you swish the formula around in your mouth and
spit. In the sink you will see small particles of food that brushing
may have missed. The small particles are dyed the color of the formula
so you can see that it is working. It sounds really nasty, but it looks
nothing like what you see on the commercials. You will once in awhile
see a small particle dyed green after rinsing with Mint Shield.
Besides knowing your teeth are cleaner, they will also feel cleaner,
and on top of that it helps protect your teeth against cavities. Mostly
though, and what parents will like best is that it inspires kids to want
to use mouth wash.
It is meant to be used after brushing, but you can use it however you
would like. I tend to use it after brushing in the morning, and then
again alone after I come home from work.
What I especially love about Smart Rinse though, aside from all of the
benefits, is that the flavor is not harsh or burning like other mouth
washes I have used. The mint flavoring is perfect, without being too
strong or unbearable. This is what keeps me coming back to Smart Rinse. I
like the fact that keeping my mouth healthy and clean does not have to
be unbearable or painful.
Overall Smart Rinse, Mint Shield Anti-Cavity Fluoride Rinse is a must
have for those who like keeping their mouths clean, without the strong
and burning sensation that regular mint mouth washes leave behind.
Where to Buy:
You can find this rinse anywhere you buy toothpaste. It will come to under $4.00 and is worth the money you will spend.
