The fall season has finally approached, even though the weather in New York at this time would suggest otherwise. Regardless of these 80 degree extended summer days, the fall season is already in play, and a quick browse through local stores say so too.
With changing seasons, a lot of companies release fall fragrances for homes for us consumers to eat up and enjoy. You have to be quick though, as these consumer goods only last for a limited time, especially when they are themed for certain times of the year.
This is basically how Febreze Air Effects, Cinnamon Sugar & Home came about. This is a limited time fragrance for the home, and you will only find it this fall season (hopefully next fall season as well).
The scent captivated me the moment I took in a quick tester sniff at the store. Cinnamon Sugar & Home smells just like a freshly baked cinnamon bun baking in the oven.
Now the problem I had with Febreze fragrances last fall season is that they had this aftermath fragrance that smelled too strong, and the clean airy scent would literally distract from the actual fragrance advertised on the bottle. Febreze cleaned up that issue, and this particular scent delivers nothing but a fall burst of ooey gooey deliciousness.
The Last:
A lot of Air Effects fragrances are short lived when it comes to fragrances. They provided a quick boost of fresh scent, and then quickly diminished. It has always been one of Febreze's main downfalls. However over the past year or so, they have really managed to whip it up quite a few notches, and the fragrances now have a lasting, and lingering quality to them.
When it comes to Cinnamon Sugar & Home you get a quick burst of potent warm and buttery cinnamon fragrance, that actually lasts for quite some time after spraying just one spritz into the air.
I find that the higher you spray it, the longer the scent lingers. It does not just fall to the ground, it literally mists slowly throughout the room, drifting about and filling its entirety with the scent.
Overall:
Febreze Air Effects, Cinnamon Sugar & Home is a gorgeous fall fragrance, one I hope makes a comeback next fall season. It has a nice lasting quality to it, and the scent is simply addicting. I'd suggest getting one before they're gone.

Review of Slatkin & Co, Scentport, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Wall Plug
I have never come across a Slatkin & Co scent that I was disappointed with. Their scents are unlike any other, as they manage to capture the pure essence of true fragrances right down to the realistic tee.
My all time favorite scents are their fall scents though, and I still have a place in my heart for the Perfect Autumn collection, which I really hope they bring back.
More recently though, I was given a Scentport, which is basically a savvy name for an oil wall plug. I never bothered much with Slatkins wall plugs though, because candles have always been my favorite way of adding warm scents to my home.
The Scentport was a starter kit, which includes the wall plug and a vile of the oil in Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin scent. You can change the oil plugs after they run out with different scents.
I opened the package and attached the vile of oil to the Scentport. I was able to smell the lovely sweet fragrance as I did so.
The Scent:
Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin first and foremost gives off a very warm and delicious realistic fragrance that matches the scent of baked pumpkin pie perfectly. The light dash of cinnamon adds to the entire realism of a pumpkin pie baking right in your oven. To better put it, the scent is delicious, and if you are a lover of pumpkin fragrances, you will quickly become a lover of Slatkin & Co, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin.
Use:
So we have already gathered that the scent is delicious, but I am sure many of you are wondering how well the actual Scentport works once it's plugged into a wall outlet.
I plugged mine into our enclosed living room, and let it do its thing. About an hour later, I came back into the room and the fragrance had managed to fill up the entire room. I was impressed, as I took in the realistic fall scent presented before me.
Overall:
This scent is a fantastic one. The Scentport itself disperses the scent throughout the entire room, giving off a long lasting warm fall vibe. I highly recommend this one to those of you who enjoy such scents. If pumpkin is not your thing, then definitely check out the other fragrances that Scentports come in.

Review of Febreze Limited Edition Pumpkin Harvest and Fall Air Effects

I scoop up nearly every single Limited Edition Febreze Air Effects home fragrances I possibly can. When the seasons change, so does their limited edition scents. Fall scents are one of my top favorite scents, with delicious fragrances like fallen leaves, candy corn, spiced apple, and pumpkin.
When I came across Limited Edition Febreze Air Effects in a Pumpkin Harvest and Fall scent I was thrilled.
The scent manages to capture the essence of the fall season, with a delicious pumpkin spice, cream, and apple fragrance all rolled into one.
The scent is not very long lasting in large rooms, but when sprayed on linens, clothing, or fabrics the scent sticks around for much longer periods of time. When sprayed in smaller rooms like bathrooms or bedrooms the scent also lingers around for much longer.
All in all Pumpkin Harvest and Fall is a delicious scent, the downside is that it is naturally limited, so go out and buy yours before they sell out.
