I had heard from a few people who swore up and down that the new
Sketchers trim fit/step shoes were really great shoes, and they even
claimed to see results. I did not want to dish out $100.00 on a pair of
shoes though that looked ridiculous on the feet. I was also under the
impression that these shoes were a gimmick.
About a month ago though, I came across a much lower little known name brand Rosina. The Rosina Trim Step Fitness Shoes
looked exactly like the bulky alien like Sketchers, so I figured it was
worth giving it a try, considering the shoes were on sale for just
$12.00.
The shoes came in either white or black, so I went with the white
ones. They are not as ugly and obvious as the black and white pair. The
rubber sole of the shoe is high in the back, this is done supposedly on
purpose and is part of the shoes design which helps you walk your way to
a toner body.
Comfort:
I was told that these wondrous fitness shoes would make me feel like I
was walking on sand, providing that extra workout while walking.
I put them on, and immediately noticed the odd arch in the shoe.
Towards the front of the shoe while you walk it feels as light as air,
and at the back of the shoe you have all of the extra weight due to the
thick amount of rubber. I would not at all compare it to walking on
sand, it felt more like I was walking on a shoe that had a broken middle
arch.
I never got tired, or fatigued while walking in them, and after just a
few moments of walking in them, they felt like any ordinary pair of
shoe.
They are not uncomfortable, not in the least, but seeing that they
felt so much like regular sneakers, I couldn't see how they would help
tone up my legs, or calf's.
Any Results?
I have worn the Trim Step shoes for close to a month now, and so far I
have not seen any difference in the appearance of my legs. Granted for
$12.00 they are a great pair of regular walking shoes. If you do decide
to buy them, don't expect to see any miraculous transformations.
