Review: Boston Terrier Christmas Sweater Statue

This past week I was in nearly every home goods/appliance stores known to man. With an engagement party around the bend, I needed to hit up as many stores as possible in a quest to make a basket up for the soon to be newlyweds.

Unfortunately though, while attempting to find things for them, I ended up finding a few things for myself. Yes, I'm greedy. I have no problem admitting it.

At any rate I fond the most adorable Boston Terrier Christmas Sweater Statue known to man. My family is full of dog lovers, and with the Christmas holiday right around the corner, I knew that this sweet sweet pooch would make the perfect centerpiece for one of our end tables or dinner table.
When I spotted the statue instantly a smile spread across my face, and frankly that is the reaction that everyone gets when they first lay their eyes on it.

Appearance:

The Boston Terrier Christmas Sweater Statue is made of tough resin. When you touch it though, it actually feels like wood, but it's not. The statue itself is durable, but hallowed out and lightweight. I'd recommend keeping it inside to maintain its pretty tacky sweater colors.

What makes the statue so likable is of course it's adorable face. The terrier itself is painted a chocolate brown color, which looks nearly black. It's eyes are neatly hand painted on, and it's mouth is slightly ajar. It is standing in an upright position, similar to how dogs stand when they are jumping up and begging for food or treats.

What makes the statue so unique though is that it is wearing a festive holiday sweater, with fun bright holiday colors in green, white, and red, with candy cane stripes separating each color and holiday pattern from one another. Glitter has been added to the sweater to give it that final tacky holiday Christmas sweater accent.

Taking on look at the odd statue though and you cannot help but smile. I like things that make me smile, so I did not hesitate. I adopted the Terrier, and have loved it ever since. It sits on our living room floor, and will be moved to the dining room table as soon as Christmas decorating begins in the home.
The Terrier sits at about 2 feet tall.

Where To Buy:

I found this statue at Homegoods for $39.99. A bit pricey, but I loved it. If you are a fan of the Boston Terrier, or just like unique holiday decor like this, than I highly recommend it.
