Review: Gorilla Tape

I've been a fan of Gorilla Glue ever since the stuff hit the market. I found it to be the strongest glue available, and believe me, I've been through my fair share of glues that have promised to be 'the strongest' and nothing really came close to beating out Gorilla Glue.

When I came across Gorilla Tape a few months ago I knew it would likely be worth the few extra dollars. Don't get me wrong, standard Duct tape can do the job, and do it well, but I wanted Gorilla Tape for outdoor things.

Yeah in my family we're a bit lazy. Instead of nailing up Christmas lights, we tape them up. Duct tape usually did a goo job, but if the wind blew too hard, our festivity of lights sometimes came blowing off the house!

I picked up Gorilla Tape strictly for the job of putting up the Christmas Lights around our outdoor windows.

When I got to using it, I was shocked at how tightly it held, and best of all was that we could use it to hang lights from the gutters! Haha! Normally we used clips for this, but Gorilla Tape did the job, and it held the lights up!

For me, that result was quite incredible itself.

Appearance:

Gorilla Tape is made with much higher quality materials than standard duct tape, and you can actually see and feel the difference. The tape itself is black, and you can see the lines of thread that are built into the actual tape.

The adhesive part of the tape is very strong, and you can feel just how strong it is the moment your finger touches it. The excellent part about it though is that it easily peels from the rest of the tape when you are using it. Some Duct Tapes I have used sometimes will stick so tightly to the piece of tape underneath it, that it is hard to rip off.

I encountered no issues at all when attempting to use Gorilla Tape.

Overall:

If you are looking for tape that will get the job done; even outdoor jobs, Gorilla Tape is a must. It is reliable, strong, and holds longer than any other tape I have ever used.

You can find Gorilla Tape at just about any store, or hardware store. One roll comes to around $8.00. It is worth it if you are looking to complete a task that requires stronger hold.
