Review of Rubber Pig Foot by 4Paws

This past month I went on an all out mission to find toys suited for my massive chewer. I have a Bull Terrier who loves to play, especially with toys. The unfortunate thing however is that every single toy we have ever bought him ends up ripped to shreds in just a few minutes. We have tried toys that promised to withstand tough chewers, we have spent too much money, on too many toys that all promised the same thing. All of which failed to withstand my Bully.

I eventually thought I was at a loss, and that my dog would never have a toy that would last longer than a day. I began searching online and came across a few toys for dogs like him. I came across a Rubber Pig Foot by 4Paws, which seemed to be just what I needed.

Instead of ordering online though, I hit up a local pet store, and low and behold, there it was. The foot was shaped like a pigs foot, and was infused with flavoring that my dog would like.

I didn't care about the flavoring though, I just wanted a chew toy that he would be able to chew on, without the toy failing in just minutes.

After picking up the Rubber Pigs Foot, I was shocked at the weight, and tough material it was made of. I knew immediately that this toy was unlike any other toy he had ever gotten. This toy was massive, and it would be perfect for his massive and powerful bite.

What Does Bully Think?

I gave the foot to our bully and watched to see if he was interested in it. The scent I suppose he was able to pick up, although I was not able to detect any scent coming from it. After a few sniffs, he picked it up, and busily went to work chewing on it.

He got bored with it pretty fast though, because there is not much he can do with it, besides chew it. However due to the fact that the rubber pigs foot comes with a long narrow hole in the center of it, I was able to lodge it up with cheese.

Once the cheese was in the hole, he went to town.

Bite after bite, tug after tug, the Rubber Pigs Foot still maintained its shape.

Durability:

He has had this toy for about a month now, and it still looks brand new. As much biting he does on the toy it has managed to withstand it's shape, without tearing. I personally could not be happier with it, and my bully seems to enjoy it a lot. Finally a chew toy that is capable of withstanding the powerful jaws of a bully.

I highly recommend this one to those of you who own Bull Terriers, or Pit Bulls. I also recommend it to those who have dogs that manages to destroy all of their toys.
