Review of Emmi Caffe Latte, Mocha

I never thought I would find an iced coffee that could even come close to comparing to Starbucks iced coffee/Frappachino's. Whenever I would come across an iced coffee in either a glass bottle, or can I'd scoop it up hoping that my purchase would be worth the money. Nothing ever was, and nothing ever did come close to delivering the same delicious quality that Starbuck's can.

However 2 weeks ago I came across one hell of a competitor by Emmi. They are iced lattes that I found being sold in the dairy isle of my local grocery store.

These iced lattes were different though. They came packaged in plastic containers, with peel off aluminum tops. When you peel off the aluminum lid, you replace the cap back on to the container. What you are left with is this mini chilled latte, with a conveninet lid.

I bought one in the Mocha flavor. Other flavors were available, but I was not about to buy all of them without trying one first. If it sucked, I'd never buy another flavor. However if I liked it, I planned on coming back for more.

Taste Test:
 
I was not about to waste any time with this one. In my car I popped off the lid, peeled of the aluminum seal, and put the plastic lid back onto the cup. I took my first sip of Emmi Caffe Latte, Mocha, and I was in heaven. I was expecting this drink to be mediocre, however after my very first sip, I could easily say that without a doubt this iced Mocha Caffe Latte, hands down was 100 times better than Starbuck's bottled Mocha beverages.

Emmi, Caffe Latte, Mocha has a smooth intoxicating flavor of chocolate, coffee, and cream. The flavors are all balanced perfectly, and no one flavor overpowers the other. It is as if you taste them all in order the way they are supposed to be tasted.

First comes the powerful creamy kick of chocolate, than a delicious note of espresso/coffee is tasted, followed by a creamy milky silk that causes your tongue to dance for more.

Emmi, Caffe Latte, Mocha is delicious!

My favorite iced coffee used to be Starbuck's french vanilla that comes in those convenient glass bottles, however, after trying Emmi's Mocha, I am forever hooked. Starbuck's from here on out will remain on the back burner. I never ever thought I'd say that, but along came Emmi, and I'm hooked!

I recommend this one to anyone and everyone. If you like iced coffee drinks, you will love this one. If you like chocolate milk, consider this one a 5 star resort.

The quality is superb, the flavor is excellent, you will not be disappointed.
