No one ever wants to review paper clips because well, they're boring.
Plus who the hell wants to read about a damn paper clip? I wouldn't, I'd
laugh at the fact that some idiot even wrote about it. But you see, so
long as the idiot is fun about it, I can't see why people would not want
to read about paper clips. Besides paper clips are so much more than
paper clips.
Paper clips are an office supply, an etching machine, a toy, jewelry,
and decoration. If you just allow yourself to think outside of the box a
paper clip is what you make of it. You can allow the stupid thing to
sit in your desk organizer, or you can bring it out and put it to some
good use.
1. Lets get the obvious of of the way. A paper clip is used to hold
paper and document together. The larger the size, the larger the hold.
Okay, you got that. Yawn.
2. The paper clip man. Who hasn't gotten bored and made one? You
simply stretch the paper clip into all sort of weird shapes until you
finally have what looks like a stick person on your desk. Bravo!!! You
smart thing you. Now shape a heart. A square! A star, oh yeah thats a
tough one. Before you know it you will be sculpting paper clip works of
art.
3. The paper clip was always my favorite in school, and this is why
many teachers never asked for them on the supplies list. You see, once
you stretch a paper clip out into a straight line, you now have an
etching machine. Simply drag the tip of the paper clips across your desk
for a lovely etched look. Feel free to add your name, your boyfriends
name, and whatever else you want. Next, scribble over your etching with a
pen. Lick your finger, and wipe up any surrounding ink. What you have
left is an ink tattoo for your desk. It will be there for years, and
years to come.
4. Paper clips also make for excellent weapons. When you fold them out
the end is sharp. You can run by a friend, or enemy and scratch their
arms up pretty good. Not recommending you do this, but umm... just in
case you need to.
5. The nail picker. Man what a great invention the paper clip is. It's
so damn universal. You can shape a paper clip into a nail picker.
Usually I stretch mine out into a straight line, and then dig away with
the sharp tip. It works great, and you can also use it to get plaque out
of your teeth.
6. Jewelry! Hey, hey, hey! That's correct. If you buy yourself a
colorful pack of paper clips you can link them up into a necklace or
bracelet. They're cool, they're stylish, and it's trendy. Teens love the
paper clip jewelry.
7. The imaginary braces. Yep every kid knows how cool a paper clip can
be if you use your imagination. When I was in school I used to see tons
of brace faces, yet I had no need for them. In order to fit in I had to
come up with a way to obtain braces without having them. The paper clip
came in handy for this job. I simply had to stretch the paper clip out,
and run it across my teeth. Of course things were uncomfortable, but
hey, I had braces.
8. The Christmas tree decorations. This is easy to do. Simply link the
paper clips together like you would to make a necklace. Only this time
make a really really big one. This requires a lot of paper clips, but
makes for excellent decorations in classrooms. Use red and green paper
clips for Christmas time, and orange and black ones for Halloween.
9. The paper clip spring. All you have to do is stretch the paper clip
out into a triangular shape, and place your finger down the center of
it. Lift, and the paper clip goes flying. Pretty fun bouncy springy
thingie. Hehe.
See, and so many people thought paper clips were boring. If you just
put your imagination to work, a boring old office toy could become the
greatest means of entertainment. Now when the boss walks into the room,
just make sure it looks like you are doing something work related with
the paper clips.
