Review of DVD:Paradise Lost - the Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills

In May of 1993 the bodies of three 8 year old boys were found severely beaten, mutilated, and killed in the woods of West Memphis, Arkansas. These murders stuck out because not only were they horrific, but it is said that they were murdered for use in some sick satanic cult whose members were 3 other young teen boys.

The DVD Paradise Lost - The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills, is actually a 150 minute documentary following the case in court after one boy (Jessie) confessed to helping murder the 3 young boys.

Basically Paradise Lost - The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills is a documentary that follows the families of the victims, the reaction of the community, the families of those charged with murder, and the actual killers themselves.

The documentary gives you chills to the bones, because not only do they show you photographs of the 3 young boys while alive, they show you their actual death photograph's- and let me tell you the images will forever be embedded into my mind.

Besides looking at these young 8 year old boys alive, than dead, you are then literately looking into the eyes of 3 cold blooded sick Satan worshiping pigs who deserve not death, but torture, just as they had inflicted on the 8 year old little boys.

The brutal details in no following order include the removal of the penis, faces cut up so badly that one boy was not even recognizable, sodomy, rape, and unimaginable torture.

Jessie is the first teen who confesses to helping his 2 friends kill the 3 boys, he however claims he did not take part in their murder, he just helped capture them, and keep them from escaping.

Jason is said to have drank the blood of the victims cut off penis. Seeing him in the film though I was led to believe that he was actually a follower, and went with the flow as to what the other 2 boys commanded of him. This is just my opinion in the beginning of being introduced to Jason. As the film went on though, and the lack of remorse, I was left with no other conclusion; Jason is just as equally sick, demented and horrible as the other 2 boys.

The big fat faced loser with black hair, who I won't even mention his name; and here is why...at the end of the documentary he says that he will now be remembered forever for what has been done. This sick individual is obviously the groups leader in this sick satanic cult. Therefore speaking his name only would be adding to what he wanted... to be remembered. Too bad.

This individual has eyes as black as coal, and claims to have no soul. Its just so pathetic that he worships the devil and cannot even inscribe the satanic pentagram the right way on his notebook.

Anyhow, with the 3 sick satanic worshiping losers, the majority of the documentary takes place in the courtroom where you see lawyers battle for justice, and other lawyers defending the 3 satanic pigs.

A lot of strange details are brought to light in the film, from the murder weapons, the odd fact that not a drop of blood was found at the scene, and during a few moments in the documentary you are left wondering if Jason, Jessie, and X were even guilty. A lot of details arise that seriously have you wondering. Perhaps someone else helped them carry out the murders? Perhaps they were really innocent? Or perhaps they are just sick twisted homosexuals who have sex with little boys and then kill them?

At any rate the film is long, and you are immediately swept in by the way the filmmakers present the story to you from the get go. It is just unfortunate that there had to be a story to begin with.

I will not give away the end results on whether or not Jessie, Jason and X are guilty or not. I do however recommend this documentary to everyone and anyone. (Except children), it is a gut wrenching documentary that will bring you to tears.

I will say that during the entire film, I wanted nothing more but to jump through my TV screen and strangle those who had killed these young boys in such a horrendous manner.
