Spice Up Summer BBQ's with Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue Stainless Chili Pepper Roasting Rack

Every year my other half and myself become BBQ legends in our family, and whenever there is a party or event, family members give us a ring and beg us to grill at their next event. It can be annoying at times, but mostly it's an honor. Year after year we try to come up with new recipe's, or grilling technique's to add something new, and unseen to the mix.

This year I am most excited to get to grilling with our newest find. Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue Stainless Chili Pepper Roasting Rack.

I stumbled upon this interesting new tool at a local Marshall's for $14.99. I was just about to leave it behind, because it was a bit pricey, but just as I was about to put it back, I thought to myself, 'no, just buy it, there is seriously no other way I could grill Jalapenos without such a tool.' So I went ahead and bought it, and hoped for the best.

What Is It?

Well, as described above, it is a tool that you place on your grill that comes with pre-cut holes in it, in order for you to add jalapenos or peppers. The kit comes with a core carver which allows you to easily remove the center of the pepper, while leaving a perfect hollow space for you to add filling.
Basically stuffed Jalapenos done your way, on your grill, and seriously no other method would work quite as perfectly as this one.

Once you decide on a filling for your jalapenos you simply place them into the individual cut holes, and fire them up on the grill.

It took about 15 minutes to get soft enough, but we used unusually large jalapenos.

The Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue Stainless Chili Pepper Roasting Rack worked better than I imagined it would. We will use this one every single time we BBQ, as it will add a new dish to our ever growing inventory of BBQ delights. I am really excited about all of the different combo's we can make with this now.

No longer are we subjected to having to buy pre-stuffed run of the mill frozen jalapeno peppers. We can now stuff them ourselves with whatever we want, and they just taste so much better.
