Boiron Sinusalia Pellets, for Sinus Pain For Sinus Pressure, Headache Pain, & Nasal Congestion

Of course just 3 days before my vacation begins I get sick. It never fails.

The second the symptoms began though I wanted to knock them dead, or at least 'try' to stop them in their tracks. My nose is stuffed, yet running. My head pounds, and the worst symptom is the sinus pressure/pain.

I immediately went on the hunt for some sort of medicine to help relive me of this illness, or better yet - get rid of it all together.

At my local CVS down the cold/flu isles, I was given a choice of nearly 300 different medicines, all of them promised nearly the same thing. I though cannot stand anything that tastes bad, so liquid syrups were out of the question.

I came across Sinusalia Pellets, a remedy I had never seen nor heard of. After picking the plastic package up though I read the promise, and it sounded like the exact product I needed.

What exactly is Sinusalia?

This form of medicine is different from your standard pill, or syrup. Made by Boiron, Sinusalia Pellets come in small orange tubes. Inside of the tubes you have a slew of micro sized pellets (they resemble those pellets that come in little packets in a new pair of shoes). According to the package I was to take 5 pellets every 2 hours and allow them to dissolve in my mouth.

It sounded simple!

What Does It Do?

Well according to the package the 2 viles came in, using Sinusalia Pellets would relieve sinus pain, nasal congestion, sinus pressure, and headache pain.

My Use:

I didn't stall. I ripped the package open as soon as I got out to my car. Removing the pellets from the small orange vile was pretty simple as well. I simply had to twist the head of the vile back and forth till 5 pellets came out and landed inside of the cap. Once I had 5 pellets in the cap, all I had to do was pour them in my mouth. It was pretty cute, and reminded me of those mini Jolly Rancher viles I used to have as a kid.

Taste:

Not bad, not bad at all. In fact Sinusalia Pellets don't really have a flavor or after taste that will make you gag. To me they tasted like rock candy. At the same time though the sugar taste made me nervous and I began thinking that all they were made of was sugar. You know, a placebo; sugar pills?

I allowed the Sinusalia Pellets to melt in my mouth, which took about 10 minutes overall.

I will say though that my speculation was wiped away just a few moments into having them in my mouth, because I was actually able to feel a soothing difference. My nasal area no longer felt like I had been punched in the face, and I was able to breath fully again. Unfortunately though my runny nose still was present.

Overall though, Sinusalia Pellets worked as they had promised. Nasal pressure gone, congestion gone, and my head actually felt alright.

Last:

You are to take 5 pellets every 2 hours, and by the time hour 2 nears it's end you feel the effect wearing off. It's perfect though, because as soon as the effect wears off, you are to take 5 more pellets.

Now the absolute best part about Sinusalia Pellets is that I felt really nasty ill in the morning, and with each 2 hour dose I took, I could feel a slight improvement.

I highly, highly recommend Sinusalia Pellets to those who are sick with nasal pressure, congestion, or headache pains. It truly works, it has a decent taste, and makes you feel better with each dose.

Where To Buy:

Sinusalia Pellets came to $10.99 for a 2 vile package at my local CVS. Each vile contains 80 pellets, more than enough to get you through you illness. You can likely find Sinusalia Pellets at any store that sells cold/flu medicines.
