Nordic Ware 10-Inch Microwave Spatter Cover: The Best Invention Since the Microwave!

The microwave is probably one of the coolest inventions I can think of. As much as I adore food in a flash though, for years my family has hated the microwave as much as we loved it.

The worst thing about it would be clean ups. We learned that using clear wrap as food covers was not healthy. Without clear wrap though, food; especially food that contained sauce, would end up all over the microwave in one big splashed up mess.

Cleaning the microwave after every use just became a hassle. We knew that NOT cleaning it though would lead to the food drying up and sticking to the walls, which is probably even more unhealthy than using clear wrap as a cover while heating food.

I ran into the utmost spectacular product though, and honestly I would say that this is the best invention, since the microwave was invented!

What is It?
 
Basically it is as simple as it sounds. A clear plastic cover that will fit over just about any sized plate you plop into your microwave. The cover will keep your microwave safe from messy splattering of food. The Nordic Ware 10 Inch Microwave Spatter Cover will pretty much catch any mess that occurs. But seeing that it is designed with clever venting slits in the plastic, splatters are less likely to occur even on to the cover itself.

The plastic it is made of is durable, and will not break if dropped. It is easy to remove and place onto food dishes. It is also see through of course so you are able to peek into the microwave to see what's going on.

It's by far the best invention for the microwave since the microwave. Spaghetti is always tossed into our microwave, and in the past whenever we went to re-heat spaghetti, a nice portion of the sauce would end up flinging onto the microwaves walls, and door.

The mess was annoying. Since purchasing the Nordic Ware 10 Inch Microwave Spatter Cover though we have not had a splatter issue since.

I found the plate cover at my local Target, and I believe I spent around $5.00 for it. I gave it to my mother the same time I gave her her new microwave for her birthday. She loves both.
