Pet Head Dry Clean Waterless Spray Shampoo for Dogs By Bed Head

My dog is special. In fact my dog probably lives a healthier happier life than most people. But hey, he's my dog and I can pamper him as I see fit.

When I came across a collection called Pet Head, which is a new line of hair care for dogs, by one of my favorite hair care lines, Bed Head, I knew I had to get it.

I have loved Bed Head for years, and I knew that it would likely be an awesome product for my dog as well. I knew my dog would likely not give a hoot what I used to give him his bath, but I pride myself with hair care items, beauty products, and so on. Being able to pamper my pooch gives me a sense of pathetic pride as well! OK!

Anyhow, Pet Head Dry Clean Waterless Spray Shampoo came in a cute set that I came across at Sam's Club for $19.99. Normally though Pet Head Dry Clean Waterless Spray Shampoo comes to $18.00 for just the bottle, so this kit was like a mega deal and beyond.

What is It?

Pet Head Dry Clean Waterless Spray Shampoo is basically a waterless shampoo spray that you can use to freshen your dogs fur in between baths. I give my dog a bath once a week, and I figured having this waterless spray around to freshen up the scent of his fur would be great.

The spray comes in a flashy neon colored plastic spray bottle, with an easy to use plastic spray nozzle. Frankly when I first came across this set I thought it was a set made for humans, but after getting up close and personal, I was able to read the logo on the neon bottle. Pet Head!
Scent:

Like most Bed Head products; they have a fresh clean scent to them. Pet Head had that same fresh, clean scent about it, and honestly it smelled like something delicious enough as to where I'd use it in my own hair. (I did not do that of course).

Use:

I used Pet Head Dry Clean Waterless Spray Shampoo directly as instructed. I sprayed a few shots on to my dog, dried him off with a towel, and brushed his hair.

He smelled fantastic for a few hours, unfortunately the freshening flavor left his coat pretty quickly. It did not really make his coat shine either.

Although I had high hopes for Pet Head Dry Clean Waterless Spray Shampoo, I can't really recommend it based off of its high price, and lack of efficiency. I was expecting Pet Head to work like a charm, to leave him smelling fresh for the entire day, but alas my furry friends this stuff was a bust. Name brand does not always mean the product is any better than cheaper brands.
