Pet Head Fears for Tears Tearless Shampoo For Dogs By Bed Head

I came across a set of hair care products for dogs that actually made me more excited than the dog was.
The reason for my excitement was that the products made for dogs, were also made my a company that I personally have loved for years.

Bed Head!

The line for dogs though is called Pet Head!

It was being sold in a set, and in the set was included a nice 16.1 ounce bottle of Pet Head Fears for Tears Tearless Shampoo.

The bottle was absolutely adorable. It is made entirely of a right blue plastic, with a plastic dog bone cap on top. The cute factor alone is primarily what made me want to try it out so much.

The shampoo is obviously meant for dogs, and what I really liked about it (besides the adorable bottle, and the fact that it was made by Bed Head) was that it will not harm my dogs eyes.

Scent:

Pet Head Fears for Tears Tearless Shampoo has a very clean and fresh scent to it, with a nice musk like undertone to it. The scent is something that frankly I myself would use in my own hair, so I really loved the fact that my dogs fur would smell like this afterward.

Use:

I ran a bath for my pooch, wet him, and popped off the bone shaped cap. Underneath the cap was a small pop up applicator. I normally don't like shampoo to come with this type of dispenser, but seeing that my dog is so small, I had more control of how much, or how little of the shampoo I wanted to use.
The lather was really sudsy, and a little bit of the product went a long way.

Once rinsing him though, his fur felt pretty fry. My dog is a Yorkie Mix, with kinky fur. I need to condition his fur about once a week to keep it shiny and snarl free. The Pet Head Fears for Tears Tearless Shampoo however made his fur feel pretty dry.

Out of the shower, I dried him up and noticed the fresh clean scent the shampoo left behind. However the more he dried, the less I was able to detect the scent. Not only that, his fur looked and felt dry.

All in all, the shampoo was just OK. Likely though I would not waste my money again.

Normally it sells for close to $17.00 alone. I got it in a set for $19.99, and frankly I was not too impressed with anything that came in the set.

The shampoo failed to impress me, which was quite surprising because I personally love Bed Head products. I thought Pet Head would be just as awesome for my dog; unfortunately it was not.
