Review: Juicy Crittoure by Juicy Couture; Pawfum for Dogs Only for Decadent Dogs

Just a few days ago I got around to reviewing Pet Head, which is a line of fur products made specially for spoiled dogs. The line is made by Bed Head, and I thought the stuff would be great. The two products I used on my dog though, I was less than impressed with.

I found it really ironic that just 2 days ago when a relative came up for a visit came bearing the usual bags of goodies. My uncle usually bring gobs of makeup, hair care, and cosmetics for the girls in our family every time he comes out for a visit.

I was thrilled when I came across an unopened box of perfume. At first glance I thought this was a new perfume by Juicy Couture. However with a second closer look, I realized this perfume was by Juicy Crittoure, which is a line of products made just for dogs!

Yup, a perfume for dogs!

Now I thought the high end designer brands like Pet Head were as luxurious as it got! I guess I was wrong, because here it was Juicy Crittoure, Pawfum for Dogs.

Now normally I don't mind splurging on my dog. Hell, he even has shoes worth more money than most of my own shoes. I never though expected to see something as ridiculous as perfume; and I especially never thought perfume for dogs would cost just as much as most high end designer brands for humans!
Juicy Crittoure, Pawfum for dogs normally sells for close to $50.00 for a 1 ounce bottle!

It comes packaged in a box that easily could be mistaken for perfume for women. The box itself is a nice antique colored brown, with a lovely stitched type design drawn on to it. The label Juicy Crittoure is also easily mistaken for the stuff for humans, Juicy Couture.

The perfume itself is a burnt yellow in color. It comes with an adorable tag tied around the small neck of the bottle, with a charm for your dog.

Seriously, the bottle looks as if it was meant for me; not my dog!?

Alas though, seeing that it was made for dogs, and the stuff was free, there was no way in heck I was not going to use it on my spoiled Yorkie.

I called him over, he wagged his tail, and I shot him with a few small spritz of the pawfum.

The scent filled the air immediately! Damn this stuff was good, and I mean so good that honestly I wouldn't feel awkward if I used it on myself.

It has such a nice lovely musk like scent to it, that is both addicting, heavenly, and refreshing. It has a feminine like note to it, but the pawfum is unisex.

Personally after I sprayed it, I fell in love with it. I wondered though if this expensive pawfum for dogs was just a gimmick. Would the lovely scent last on my dogs coat? Or would the addicting scent fizzle away within seconds?

Well to answer that question, Juicy Crittoure, Pawfum for Dogs lasts, and lasts, and lasts. I was very impressed. My dog walked around for 2 days smelling like a pampered one of a kind pooch.

Although I find Juicy Crittoure, Pawfum to be a bit pricey, I also find it to be the best stuff I have ever used when it comes to keeping my dogs coat smelling fresh and clean. People actually enjoy picking him up and smelling his fur, which has happened... oh...never before!

When I run out, I am definitely placing an order on this stuff. I hope they market this scent to us gals! Haha! Seriously, it is that good!
