Review of Doggie Bis-Cuties Minty Cod Fish-Rich in Omega 3- Dog Treats Biscuits Cookies Foofy Doo

I know the name probably sounds disgusting, (Doggie Bis-Cuties Minty Cod Fish-Rich in Omega 3! Dog Treats Biscuits Cookies Foofy Doo) the cod fish addition to the name of these dog treats is what nearly turned me off to buying them for my dog, but the package was cute, and I am a sucker for cute packages. Not only that, our bull terrier is not picky at all.

These dog treats are packaged up in a very cute, near retro looking package. It features a cartoon dog with its nose pointed up in the air, looking like a refined snob.

There is no window in the package though, so when I purchased them I had no idea what they would look like, or what to even expect.

Once home, I opened up the box to find a plastic bag filled with rectangular sickly looking white treats. I could also see small green leaves scattered throughout the treats. I imagined this was mint, because these treats are also supposed to cure bad breath.

Cod and mint, it sounded gross, and the treats, I have to admit, they did not look too appetizing, nor did they smell that great when I pulled the bag open.

The dog though, he did not seem to mind that the treats looked funky, or that they had mint leaves all throughout, because when I handed him one he happily chomped away, and sat looking at me with his puppy dog eyes, a plea for me to give him some more.

Overall:

So they do not look that great, nor do they smell too good, but they are a healthy treat for my dog, and my dog seems to love them just fine.

It was my smaller dog that i worried about. I like giving him healthy treats as well, but he is very picky. When I saw these treats out of the package, I did not think he would want to touch them, and seeing that they did not smell very good, I did not think he would even bother with it.

My guess was dead off though, because when I handed him one, he sniffed it, backed away, and then actually went in for the kill, which was very surprising to me. I guess they are dog approved, because Mr. Picky Pants actually liked them.
