Review of Super Pet Mini Silent Spinner

I know that most are probably repulsed by the idea of having a pet field mouse, but my little guy came to me as a baby and I pretty much rescued him from a pool. He was no larger than a quarter when I scooped him up, and simply fell in love with his giant eyes, and micro appearance.

He has been with me for 2 years now, and is probably the most spoiled, high class little rodent you would ever meet.

When I first got him, and set up a tank for him, I added a bunch of nifty toys, and his absolute favorite was a small silent wheel spinner. This spinner was great as it made no noise, and he seemed to enjoy it more than any other trinket in his tank.

The spinner over time though began to wear, and the pins no longer held the wheel in place properly, so it would hit the side walls and make screeching sounds.

Since this kept me up at night on more than one occasion, I knew it was time to replace his spinner with a new wheel run.

At Petco I went looking for the same one he had, as it worked well, and stood in good condition for quite awhile. I sadly could not find a new one, but instead found a spinner by Super Pet. The Super Pet Mini Silent Spinner was perfect, in fact it looked more durable than my mouse's old spinner.

The wheel run itself is like a miss shaped bowl, attached to a base. I liked this because I didn't have to worry about him hurting his feet in some large hole that other cage spinners have. I also liked it because it spun fast, and it made virtually no noise at all as it spun around.

I knew he was going to love this one, and I knew I would too, because he wouldn't keep me up at night running around on the spinner like a maniac.

There is no set up involved, you simply remove it from the package and wait for it to go to use.
My mouse loved it, and was on it within a few minutes of placing it in his cage. He can run faster on the Super Pet Mini Silent Spinner, and it makes no noise at all, so it is no bother to anyone in the room.

The Super Pet Mini Silent Spinner is nice quality, a decent price, and it makes no noise. I highly recommend it to anyone with a small pet that likes running in wheels.
