Review: Right Hand Ring .46 Ct. T.W. Brown & White Diamond Ring Available at Sam's Club

This past week my boyfriend gave me an early Valentine's Day gift. A VCR 2 PC Converter. He gave it to me early because he knew I had to work on the weekend, and he knew that it was something I would have to spend countless hours working with.

When Valentine's Day actually came along, I assumed I'd already gotten my gift, and that was that. I figured he would just take me out to dinner, and get me some flowers. I had no idea that he actually went out and purchased me a ring that I have loved for quite some time now.

This ring stuck out in the jeweler's case, and would sparkle and shine like a fallen star. Whenever we visited Sam's Club, I'd stop by quickly to see the ring. I loved it, but found the price to be far to high for what I would ever spend on a ring. Admiring it in the case though was good enough for me.

I stopped by weekly to see if it was still there. I had no idea that my few months of visiting the case to see this ring sent my boyfriend hints. In no way, shape or form did I want him to buy it for me. I'm a pretty casual girl. Fine jewelry is nice sure, but on someone else's finger/arm/neck. I've always been happy with my cheapie jewelry and my cubics stones.

Appearance:

The reason the ring was so attractive was the way the diamonds shimmered due to their flat cut. The ring itself is made of 14 K yellow gold, with a squared of top setting. The squared top setting has thin lines of flat diamonds, surrounding the diamond brick road (that's what I call it anyway), is a thin gold divider. In the very center there are 9 brown diamonds set in a dark prong. They are set up in rows of 3, creating 3 rows in total as the center cluster.

Now the prong that holds in the 9 brown diamonds does not appear to be yellow gold, as it has a black finish to it. I unfortunately have no clue what the dark prong is, but it has to be some sort of gold?

At any rate the dark prong setting makes the brown diamonds look even browner than what they really are. I have always been fond of brown gemstones, and these 9 brown diamonds are gorgeous.

I never actually went hunting for the name of this ring, because I never had a need to. However since receiving it this Valentine's Day, I located the exact ring on the Sam's Club website. You can click here to view it.

It is considered a right hand ring, and is only described as .46 Ct. T.W. Brown & White Diamond Ring.

The websites photo however does not do this ring justice, because what the image is missing is the way that light shimmers off of the lined row of white diamonds, and the way the brown diamonds cast a gorgeous shimmer with every subtle movement you make with your hand.

What it also fails to show is the detailed cut that the gold setting itself has. On the sides of the ring, there are small delicate cuts that make the ring look more classical, like fine lace.

All in all, it is a gorgeous ring. Guys looking to impress their gals, this ring will do all that and more. For ladies who like spoiling themselves, this ring is definitely one you will want to check out.

It normally is sized at the stores in the showcase size of 7. You can have it customized to your size, however the wait is an additional 8 weeks which I find to be ridiculous. Mine is being resized now, and I won't have it back till sometime in April!

Another issue with this particular ring aside from size customization's taking so long, is the fact that the manufacturer will not size the ring larger than a 9. If you need a 9.5 ring, they will not do the work for free, which I find to be absolutely appalling.

At any rate, the ring is gorgeous, but the manufacturer should definitely speed up customizations, and make them more customizable for larger ring sizes.
