Commencing Fall!
Once the season hits, shelves at stores begin to flood with anything
and everything pumpkin related. That has never been more true when it
comes to home fragrances, and I, like tons of others, grab everything up
and horde them in our homes to have year round.
When I came across Paula Deen's Collection of candles, the very first
one I knew I needed to have was called, blatantly simple, Pumpkin Pie.
In the store, and unlit, the Paula Deen Pumpkin Pie Candle offered a
promising scent. Unlit it had a very creamy pumpkin fragrance, with a
perfect little dash of cinnamon. It literally seemed to capture the
essence of what pumpkin pie should smell like. Only it was packed into a
tiny jar with a little wick int he center.
When Lit:
This is when the magic happens. Once lit the Paula Deen Pumpkin Pie
Candle begins to slowly trickle this freshly baked pumpkin pie fragrance
all throughout the room. Even when burnt in larger rooms the tiny
candle does not weaken or have difficulty permeating its fragrance to
every corner of the room.
The overall scent you get when this one is burned is a very true to
life pumpkin pie baking in a country kitchen. You have a very grand and
robust scent of pumpkin, you get a tint of cinnamon, and you even get a
very subtle dash of pie crust in the mix, which is beyond impressive
when it comes to a candle.
The scent does not take long at all to be recognized either. Within
the very first few short minutes of burning, the scent begins to make
itself known.
Overall:
Paula Deen's Pumpkin Pie Candle is a very strong candle, but it is not
at all overbearing. This particular candle is a must have for those
like me, whom wait for the fall collection of scents to hit shelves.
This particular candle is probably my all time favorite this season so
far. I have yet to encounter a match this powerful when it comes to
this particular scent.
Where To Buy:
Right now Big Lots is selling these candles by Paula Deen, as well as
other falls scented candles in her collection. Get one before they are
all gone!
