Earth Therapeutics Anti-Stress Silk Eye Pillow: Review

Recently I went on an Earth Therapeutics shopping spree at my local Kohl's. I have never known much about the company, but at the time being, all of their products were on an after Christmas sale, and I was able to scoop up some of their products for half off.

I have been suffering from strained, puffy tired looking eyes lately, so when I came across a slew of eye care products I grabbed them all up in hopes to getting clear, rejuvenated eyes before I had to head back to work from my Christmas mini break (sigh).

In my cart I flopped in an Earth Therapeutics Anti-Stress Silk Eye Pillow. This was something I knew I would never ever buy unless it was dirt cheap. Seeing how I was getting it for half off, and how I was purchasing a mob of eye puffiness/stress relief products, I figured the Earth Therapeutics Anti-Stress Silk Eye Pillow would only top off the whole beauty regime. (So yeah, it was a whim purchase).

The Earth Therapeutics Anti-Stress Silk Eye Pillow is 100% silk. The pillow itself has a silk casing, and another silk pillow inside of the silk casing. The double layer is to protect your eyes.

Inside of the silk case, the pillow has a zipper which holds flax seeds, which are naturally cooling. I figured after using my Earth Therapeutic Cucumber/Orange eye pads, I would use the silk eye pillow. I figured the pillow would help relieve stress, seeing how inside with the flax seeds, the scented lavender and chamomile would totally put me, and my eyes in a relaxing mood.

When I got home I planned on having a 30 minute mini spa moment in my own bedroom.

First I did the eye pads, and next my Earth Therapeutics Anti-Stress Silk Eye Pillow.

I placed the pillow right over my eyes, which is designed to contour to your face. It stays on easily, so I was happy I didn't have to use anything to hold it down. Once placed on my eyes it began to cool them.

It felt really nice, and really soothing. The chamomile and lavender also began to swish throughout the air, and into my nostrils, which did put me in a calm mood.

I left the pillow on for about 15 minutes, and enjoyed the cooling sensation, and the scent.

After the whole thing was over with, my eyes felt 100% relaxed, and calm. The puffiness was still present, but I could not feel it at all. Not until I looked in the mirror did I realize it had done nothing when it came to relieving me of puffiness.

Overall:

The Earth Therapeutics Anti-Stress Silk Eye Pillow is a nice way to relax your eye, and your mind. I enjoyed the scent it gives out, and I loved the way it made my eyes feel.

For the $5.00 I spent on it, I feel it was well worth it.

Care:

The Earth Therapeutics Anti-Stress Silk Eye Pillow pillow casing is washable. You can also remove the flax seeds to wash the pillow itself. You may also spray the flax seeds with Earth Therapeutic spray to revive the lavender/chamomile scent if it was to disappear over time. I recommend putting the silk pillow back in its original packaging after each use, to ensure longer last and less washing.

Where To Buy:

I picked my Earth Therapeutics Anti-Stress Silk Eye Pillow up at Kohl's. You can find the silk pillow here, or online at the official Earth Therapeutics site. I have not seen this being sold at drug stores though.

Normally the Earth Therapeutics Anti-Stress Silk Eye Pillow comes to $9.99. It's still worth $10.00 in my opinion.
