Movie Review: Teeth

The movie Teeth, is almost a disturbing flick, but the humor incorporated into it sort of ruined any chances it had at being labeled one of those master disturbing films.

Teeth is about a young girl names Dawn who is totally obsessed with staying pure till the day she gets married. Dawn however doesn't even manage to save it till the end of the week, which is why thought the flick started off semi lame.

She meets this guy that she totally digs in just a few short minutes. Before long she is hanging out with him, preaching how she wants to stay pure... yet at the same time she is sucking face with the dude under some waterfall.

The guy gets a little too excited and ends up trying to rape her! Just as you are about to go 'awe, poor Dawn'...Dawns vagina chops his winkie off. Yep, Dawn has a mythical disease going on inside her known as Vagina Dentana.

After this incident, Dawn takes herself to a doctor to see what is wrong with her, and instead of getting a proper analysis the doctor decides to shove nearly his whole hand up her crotch, tells her she is tight... and CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP. Stupid perverted doctor looses all his fingers! Take that!

The rest of the movie focuses on sex, and only sex. Dawn manages to pork and chop off a few more penises till finally the movie comes to one of those predictable endings.

Now during the whole movie you will see a few butts, and a short clip of Dawns boobs, of and of course a few severed penises. However you never see a vagina- unless you count the ridiculous text book chart that Dawn looks at earlier ion in the movie.

You will though be seeing sex in nearly every other scene, more sex, and more severed male parts.

Overall:

Teeth did have its squeamish moments, my boyfriend was holding on to his crotch while watching the severed dingle dangle parts, so it definitely is able to get male viewers to feel the victims pain. Yet when humor is thrown into the mix it makes watching Teeth a tad bit easier.

All in all it is a flick that I didn't find to be horribly terrible, nor was it a film I'd likely see again. It's just okay. Although it is not a flick I'd recommend you run out to buy, I will say that I think it is worthy enough of a rent.

Teeth is not meant for children, but reading through this review, likely you already figured that out.
