Review: Snyder's of Hanover, Snyder's Dips York Peppermint Chocolate Pretzel Sandwich

Dear Snyder's, please do not make York Peppermint Chocolate Pretzel Sandwich's limited edition, because these new mini delights are absolutely scrumptious!

I came across a bag of Snyder's Of Hanover, York Peppermint Chocolate Pretzel Sandwich at my local Target this weekend for $3.69. I am a huge fan of Snyder's Pretzels in general, and a fan of York Peppermint Patties. Never in a million years though, would I ever think to combine minty chocolate with a pretzel...whoever did, major kudos to you, because this has to be the best thing that has happened to pretzels since someone discovered pouring chocolate over them.

Each pretzel sandwich is drenched in chocolate. Once bitten you can see inside of the sandwich. 2 round pretzels are stacked together, with a nice thick layer of peppermint cream. The sandwich is about as large as those peanut butter pretzels you probably already know of. The sandwich's are a decent size; a pop in your mouth size.

Each pretzel in Snyder's Of Hanover, York Peppermint Chocolate Pretzel Sandwich come covered in dark chocolate. One bite of the sandwich and your taste buds immediately hit the authentic creamy goodness of York Peppermint's minty flavor. As you chew the dark chocolate begins to take over, followed by a very mellow pretzel flavoring. Everything mixes together perfectly creating this delicious crunchy York Peppermint Patty.

I did not think that pretzels would mesh so well with peppermint flavoring, but God was I wrong. I ended up downing the entire bag over the weekend, and I crave more.

I am praying Snyder keeps these around year round, and that they are not just some limited edition Christmas flavor, because these mini sandwich's are simply delicious, and I do not think anyone who tried one could deny having another. They are seriously that good, and in my opinion, worth every cent I spent on them. I just wish they came in bigger bags!
