JW Pet Hol-EE Roller Dog Toy: Review

I'm not trying to be gross when I say this, but, my dog loves balls. However he is a small 8 pound Yorkie, and has a hard time playing with the types of balls they have available on the market. Either the ball is too big to fit in his mouth, or too small for me to feel that it is safe to give to him.

When I came across the JW Pet Hol-EE Roller Dog Toy, it was a match made in heaven. This ball is the only ball with holes in it for him to be able to get a good grip on it. He can run with ease with the ball in his mouth without dropping it over and over again, like he does with tennis balls.

The entire ball is made of rubber and comes in a wide assortment of colors. Ever since I got him one of these about a year ago, I find myself buying them every other month because our Bull Terrier ends up ripping them to pieces if he gets hold of them.

What We Love:

Not only is my dog able to carry this ball around with ease, but it also serves another more interesting and fun purpose. Unfortunately the package does not fill you in on its other use. So here I am sharing our other use with the JW Pet Hol-EE Roller Dog Toy.

Due to the small openings in the ball, I am able to shove a large dog bone into it. When I do this it serves as a forging type ball where my dog works at the ball for a few hours till he is able to chew the bone to bits. I find this a good use for his time, and for his gums and teeth.

What I also love about the JW Pet Hol-EE Roller Dog Toy is the fact that it does not get filled with slime. So while you are playing fetch you can grab it without getting a handful of dog slurp on your hand.

Sizes:

The JW Pet Hol-EE Roller Dog Toy comes in a few different sizes to fit your dogs needs. I always purchase the 3.5 inch ball, but you can get them in an 5 inch size, and a larger 8 inch size. My small dog is able to carry around even the largest of balls. However he prefers the 3.5 inch one overall.

Quality:

The JW Pet Hol-EE Roller Dog Toy is made of durable rubber. However if your dog is a major chewer with sharp teeth know that he/she will tear trough the ball with a few good chomps to the rubber.

I find that even the larger balls will not suit a strong dog and should be avoided. Bull Terriers, Rotties, and Pit Bulls will only tear right through it, so it's honestly a waste of money to purchase the ball for these types of massive dogs.
