Ooh La La Bath Accessories - Soap Dish: Review

My friend decided to do her bathroom up in a new theme recently. We both ran into the theme at our local KMart, and both of us were instantly attracted to the theme.

It was girly, it was vintage looking, and it was gorgeous. The theme is called Ooh La La, by Essential Home. I would of loved to of grabbed the entire collection to decorate our bathroom, but the price for the entire collection was what kept me from purchasing everything. My friend though...she went nuts, and ended up walking away with the entire Ooh La La collection.

I got the benefit of being able to see her bathroom the next day to see how gorgeous it all turned out.
In the collection there is an Ooh La La Soap Dish. At first she almost missed picking this one up, only because it is made of glazed resign, and nothing else in the collection has a glossy glaze like the soap dish. Although it is part of the collection, it does not really look it as much.

Appearance:
 
The Ooh La La Soap Dish is still cute, regardless of it's miss-matched appearance. It is a mini white claw foot tub with a mini Ooh La La towel hanging from its side. If it were not for the matching Ooh La La Towel, we both would of missed it as being part of the collection. However even with the towel matching that of the Ooh La La collection, we both still were not convinced that this soap dish was a necessity.

That is until we noticed the same tub/color scheme on the Ooh La La Padded Toilet Seat. Once we realized it was the same tub, she got excited and placed the tub in the cart.

The tubs rim is done up in a minty green color, with a pink bath mat inside of the actual tub.

Overall the Ooh La La Soap Dish is cute, but because of the high glossy appearance, it sort of looks tacky. It does not mesh in well with it's bath accessory friends.

Recommendation:
 
I seriously can only recommend the Ooh La La Soap Dish to those who are going to do their entire bathroom up in the Ooh La La theme. If not, it's sort of tacky looking due to the high glossy glaze they added to it.
