Review of Essential Home Ooh La La Embellished Towels - Bath

My friend recently added a brand new theme to her bathroom. While we were both out shopping at our local KMart we came across a bath theme that we both instantly fell in love with. The Ooh La La Collection, by Essential Home.

The collection is basically bath accessories and items created to give your bathroom a vintage, and sophisticated girly look.

The first thing both of us grabbed for were the Ooh La La Embellished Bath Towels.

Appearance:
 
The towels are gorgeous. they have pink and white striped running up them, with a small black border to divide each color, to allow them to stand out. The very bottom of the towels have the pretty embellished strand, with sewn in pictures of pink high heel shoes, perfume bottles, and wall signs with the Ooh La La logo on them.

At first my friend was just going to buy the towels, but the more she got to looking, the more excited she got. She eventually ended up walking out with the entire Ooh La La theme in tote.

I skipped only because the entire collection came to $200.00 or more. I did however end up buying 3 towels from the collection, only because I loved them, and loved how soft they felt.

Absorbency:
 
The main issue I always have had with themed sets is that once they are gone, you never will find it again. The next major piss off moment when buying towels from a theme set, is that the towels are all made with the same material. They are very soft, and offer no absorbency.

The Ooh La La Bath Towels are the same. They look beautiful hanging from the towel rack, but they do not absorb for crud. It's sort of sad that they are so pretty, but can't actually be used efficiently.

Overall:
 
I love the bath towel. My friend loves the bath towels. We both agree though that they are only meant to be looked at, and not used.

I feel that if you are doing your bathroom up in the Ooh La La theme, then the towels are a must have.

However I wouldn't buy them alone if you are not completing a theme. It's sort of wasteful, as they only are meant to be looked at for the most part.

The Ooh La La Bath Towels come to $8.99 each. They are made of 1005 cotton. You can buy the Ooh La La styled towels in bath size, finger tip, and hand towel sizes. They are all embellished in the same manner.
