Review: Hershey Kisses Filled with Peanut Butter

I first got hold of a bag of Hershey Kisses Filled With Peanut Butter about a year or so ago, and ever since it has been a particular flavor kiss that I have picked up time after time. My boyfriend in particular is a Reese's lover, and he particularly loves Hershey Kisses Filled With Peanut Butter above and beyond any other flavor Hershey Kisses have come in.

Hershey Kisses Filled With Peanut Butter come in a bag featuring a large blown up drawn on Hershey kiss in the middle. The kiss has a slice taken out of it, so you can clearly see that these kisses feature a peanut butter center. At the lower right side of the package, a hand drawn picture of peanuts, and a peanut shell surround a hand drawn peanut butter kiss.

The foil the kisses come in is an almond colored gold, with red swirl marks on it. You can see the kisses inside of the bag through the clear areas on the bag.

I removed the foil on one of the Hershey Kisses Filled With Peanut Butter, and saw that these little guys resembled the original Hershey Kisses. I knew though that the true treasure was not on the outside, it was what was on the inside.

I bit it in half, and inside you can clearly see a very fair amount of creamy peanut butter.

Texture:
 
Hershey Kisses Filled With Peanut Butter are softer that the original Hershey Kisses we all have grown to love. The outer shell has a thicker and harder shell than the peanut butter inside, which is soft and creamy.

Flavor:
 
Hershey Kisses Filled With Peanut Butter are delicious. They have their own smooth peanut butter flavored center not like any other. I imagined these kisses would taste like Reese's, although similar, they have a much smoother peanut butter center with a much more toned down peanut butter flavoring, where Reese's are a little drier, and more salty.

Fear not though peanut butter lovers, these kisses are delicious, original, and definitely a flavor you will go back to time and time again. I know I do.

Hershey Kisses Filled With Peanut Butter rock! They have a delicious flavor, a wonderful smooth center, and a harder chocolate outer shell making for the perfect peanut butter and chocolate treat... only smaller than the norm.
