Review: Home Breakfast Tray with Handle

I've never been a breakfast in bed type of person, nor did I purchase the Home Breakfast Tray With Handle to eat breakfast in bed. I had another use in mind for this product. I needed an easier way to have control over my laptop while in bed. Okay, sure, I'll admit it, I'm an in bed web surfer, but as many of you know, your neck and back take a toll over time with hour long sessions.

I imagined picking up a breakfast tray would make my life easier... and my neck and back feel a heck of a lot better while working on my laptop.

Appearance:

The Home Breakfast Tray with Handle obviously comes with a handle. I prefer to call it two handles though, because there is one handle on each side allowing you to pick it up and carry it with ease, for those looking to use this as a food server it would also work perfectly because of the handles and the fool proof wood frame that sticks up abut a half an inch high. Its designed this way to make sure nothing falls off when transporting it.

The trays actual placements is a slick white finish, which I found odd, because it would allow food and drink to easily slide around.

The bottom of the tray has two fold in feet, which I like because you can use it flat, or put the legs up if you want to sit up straighter.

My Use:

As stated, I planned on using the Home Breakfast Tray with Handle for easier laptop use while in bed. The tray fits my laptop with ease, and there is just enough room there for my small mini wireless mouse. It truly made things a heck of a lot easier on my neck. No more looking down on a constant, I could now have the laptop level to where I didn't have to crunch my neck down.

Overall:

Seriously food, drink, or just plain workspace, the Home Breakfast Tray with Handle does what I need it to do. Make life easier. Although the trays base is slippery, I figure if you slap down a place mat on top of it, things would work out fine.

Pricing:

For the $14.99 I spent on it, it was well worth it.

You can pick one up in the home goods isles of Target. The models they are selling at Target.com are higher priced, so stop by at the store if possible.
