Review: Michael Angelo's Gourmet Foods Inc, Shrimp Scampi Frozen Dinner Hands Down, the Best Frozen Dinner Ever

I cannot believe I haven't shared a review on my all time favorite frozen dinner entree yet! I have been buying Michael Angelo's Gourmet Foods Inc, Shrimp Scampi Frozen Dinner for about 6 months now every time I go into my local Sam's Club.

Now many people will tell you that frozen dinners are nowhere near as flavorful as a real diner meal, or home cooked meal... but seriously you must not have tried frozen dinners by Michael Angelo's yet, because these are no ordinary run of the mill frozen dinners, these meals are delicious from start to finish, with a heart serving in every tray, and a flavor so rich and delicious you will be burping it up for hours.

Shrimp Scampi in particular when bought from a warehouse is sold with 2 large trays of food. When frozen it may not look appetizing, with pale gray colored shrimp piled on top of frozen pasta... however once you pop this one into the microwave for a good 6-7 minutes, the result is an aromatic dinner that seriously is comparable to expensive gourmet restaurant food.

Once heated the shrimp is steamed to a fresh orange color, the pasta is drenched in fresh chunks of tomato, and a hearty creamy lemon butter garlic sauce.

The scent that Shrimp Scampi gives off is that of a fine restaurant. The moment you peel off the plastic cover, the scent hits your nose, and it's a drool fest up until you take your first bite.

Michael Angelo's Gourmet Foods Inc, Shrimp Scampi Frozen Dinner has such a wonderful flavor in every bite. From the chunks of tomato, and the lemon butter garlic sauce, it's truly a delight. The shrimp are fresh, not limp, old, or of poor quality. Each shrimp has a fresh crunch quality to it, for seafood lovers this particular dinner is not cheap either.

One tray contains around 15-20 medium sized shrimp. None of that tiny teeny cocktail shrimp that other frozen dinners add to their meals. These shrimp are large, satisfying, and plentiful.

There is also such a large share of lemon butter garlic sauce that you can dip bread into it without sacrificing the sauce for when you actually eat the pasta.

Like I said, Michael Angelo's Gourmet Foods Inc, Shrimp Scampi Frozen Dinner is no ordinary frozen dinner. This is a delicious gourmet meal, so good that going out to restaurant's will become a thing of the past.
