Review of Hannah Montana Fashion Collection Doll - Skirt 'n Jeans

I had no idea that my nieces weird looking Barbie doll was actually a Hannah Montana Fashion Collection Doll. Seeing how Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana is the IT girl for teens, I had to review this odd doll.
I think Hannah is adorable, don't get me wrong, but this Hannah Montana Fashion Collection Doll- Skirt 'n Jeans does not do the star justice.
(I'm so sorry Miley) The doll looks like the cheap dollar store version of Barbie Doll. The Hannah Montana doll has a large grin on her face, nicely done mild makeup on her face. Her face is not what ruined this doll though, in fact the Hannah Montana Fashion Collection Doll has a really nice face, and somewhat resembles the actress/singer, it was the gnarly hair that was thrown on top of the dolls head that made it look totally cheap and no frills.
The Hannah Montana Dolls hair is long and golden colored, the bangs though is what killed me. They were choppy, and cut in a horrendous way. With too much play, the Hannah dolls bangs eventually end up sticking up, and my niece is just itching to cut them. (It won't be long I am sure).
Hannah Montana Fashion Collection Doll - Skirt 'n Jeans is part of the Fashion Collection set of dolls. This particular doll though comes with 2 different clothing styles that are authentic to the actual clothing Hannah has worn in the show.
The first outfit is comes already on the Hannah doll. It is a modern looking county look. The doll wears a pair of tight denim jeans, with a pair of plastic gold cowboy boots. Her top is purple and silky to the touch, and she wears a darker denim jacket over the purple top. It sort of doesn't match, and I was not too thrilled with this particular outfit, and my niece wasn't either. This is why when I first saw her doll, she was wearing the outfit that came on the side.
The skirt. This particular dress (I would call it) is a one piece. It is white and has a lovely waterfall like effect to it at the bottom. On the dress are pretty pink flowers. The dress has a large black and white dotted belt that is actually a lot nicer looking than it sounds. This particular outfit also comes with some knee high black boots.
Although the doll failed to come with 2 nice outfits, at least it came with one. So it was not too terrible.
The Hannah Montana doll also comes with a plastic microphone which will come attached to her hand, and a pink plastic hair brush for those terrible bangs.
Overall:
The Hannah Montana Fashion Collection Doll - Skirt 'n Jeans is really pretty ugly, but is a pleaser for young girls who are fans of the star. The doll may be cheap looking, but it is flying off of shelves. Even though you as a parent may not be thrilled with the doll do know your child will be.
This particular doll will also just rise in price over time, seeing how Miley Cyrus merchandise is such a must have for fans.
