Black clothing, and 10 dogs, with 1 cat thrown into the mix; do not mix.
I'm not talking about the dogs being mean to the cat, I'm talking about
the abuse my black clothing take.
I work in an office, and there have been times where there would be a
big gray hairball stuck to my butt, or back. Compliments of el' kitty.
Because of this, I always carry a hair roller in my purse.
I usually buy the cheap ones you find at checkout lines at Walmart.
However a few months ago I came across a scented roller at a local
Target and fell in love with it. It not only would remove any loose fur
from my clothing, it also left behind a nice scent of clean linen.
When I picked up the Tide High Performance Hair Roller, with Simply
Pleasures, Vanilla & Lavender, I thought it was the same roller I
bought months earlier. I was wrong. The orange color the roller came in
led me to believe it was the same Bounce one I had gotten. I should of
read the label more closely.
How It Works:
Simply put. You peel off the protective sheet, and move the roller
around your clothing. You can actually check to see how much hair the
particular roller sheet has collected. After you are done, you peel off
the sheet, and move on to the next sheet.
Only with Tide High Performance Hair Roller, with Simply Pleasures,
Vanilla & Lavender, your clothing is supposed to be left with a
light fragrance to freshen you up, and your mood.
Now I have no beef with the Tide roller itself. The roller picks up
hair like a charm, and comes with 44 sheets (the roller claims it is 45,
but due to having to peel off the label you loose a sheet). There are
plenty of sheets to last me about a month, and at $2.97 it's pretty
decent.
When I first opened the roller, I was expecting a clean linen scent,
only if I had read closer, I would of seen it was actually vanilla mixed
with lavender. No biggie...except for when I gave the roller a sniff.
I wasn't smelling vanilla, nor did I smell lavender. I was smelling mint. Candy canes to be exact.
It was a nice scent, I must say, but definitely not the scent I was
expecting, especially when it's called vanilla and lavender.
I guess my only beef with the Tide roller is the fact that it smells
like candy canes, and not vanilla and lavender. I wanted to point that
out to anyone who cannot stand minty fragrances. It's a major plus
though if you love those types of scents.
Overall:
I like the Tide roller. I do however prefer the Bounce hair rollers
because they actually leave the scent behind for an hour or so. The Tide
roller, has a scent when you place the roller up to your nose; the
scent however does not stay on your clothing like other scented rollers
available. So it does have its downfall there.
If I couldn't find Bounce rollers though, I would have no problem
buying a Tide one again. I would however seek out other scents, perhaps
they'd last longer.
